Tacking Point Lighthouse The Tacking Point Lighthouse has been classified by the National Trust of Australia. Tacking Point was named by Matthew Flinders in 1802, and a lighthouse was first built on the point in 1879.After 40 years under the control of a lighthouse keeper, the light was connected to automatic on October, 1919. |
Port Macquarie is situated 400km north of Sydney. Kempsey is 40km north and inland (approx: 35min drive)
